El verbo To Be

 En la lengua inglesa el "present simple" es el tiempo verbal más sencillo y uno de los importantes. Es por eso que hoy quiero explicarles un poco sobre como utilizar el verbo To Be. 

Lo usaremos cuando queremos hablar sobre nombres, nacionalidades, edades, profeciones, sentimientos. sin embargo, esto es solo el principio del inglés y su uso puede ser realmente facil si reconocemos su estructura.

• El verbo To Be (ser, estar) tiene 3 formas de conjugación en presente: Am, Are, Is

verb to be:

Am            Are          Is

I                 You          He 

                   We          She

                   They        It

La forma de conjugación es así:

Affirmative sentences:

She is a student.

he is my brother, he's only 12. 

They are from Canada. 

we are in USA.

I am in the school.

You are at home today. 

Negative sentences:

I am not student.

You are not British.

He is not my uncle.

She is not my friend.

They are not my parents. 

we are not sisters. 

Question:

Is Claudia from the UK?

Is he a doctor?

Is it fron China?

Are you a teacher? 

Are they in Italy?
